Due to the challenges in our education system, we focus our training on Early Childhood Development (ECD) and foundational learning skills in young children.
We offer a variety of short courses as well as a full 18 month Level 4 SETA accredited ECD learnership.
This initiative addresses South Africa’s high unemployment rate by recruiting, training, and placing young men and women in schools as teaching assistants for one year.
This allows for interns to develop a love for education and potentially continue in this field in the future.
ORT SA CAPE distributes LEGO resources (sponsored by The LEGO Foundation) and offers training on the use of these resources to schools and ECD centres in disadvantaged communities across the Western Cape.
Our innovative EduTech Programmes make coding and Robotics accessible to teachers around the Western Cape. We offer a variety of training, support, resources and programmes.
